Damiana is a yellow-flowering shrub which was first used by the Aztecs, and was introduced commercially in the U.S. in 1874. Mexican damiana leaves have long been valued in folklore for a variety of uses including aiding in relief of mild anxiety and as an enhancer for a more active life-style. However, there is currently no scientific evidence supporting these beliefs. Take 3- 4 capsules 3 times daily with a large glass of water.
