Usage
Bayberry was used by the Choctaw Indians as a tea.*
Recommended Daily Dosage
One to two capsules twice daily with water at mealtimes or prepared as a
tea. Maximum use: Take 1 to 4 capsules every hour for 3 to 5 days Reduce use
to 2 capsules three times daily for 10 to 14 days following initial use.

Usage Warnings
As a general rule, caution and moderation are advised with all
supplementation during pregnancy and lactation.
Those concerned with sodium/potassium balance, such as people with kidney
disease, high blood pressure, or congestive heart failure, should consult a
physician before using this herb. Hot tea of Bayberry Root bark can bring on
a strong irritated cough.
